Letter from the Managing Director of Hamilton Wood & Company.
Dear business friends and associates,
Hamilton Wood & Company take data handling and data processing seriously.
You may have heard by now that in May 2018 the European GDPR legislation will come into effect and it will govern the way in which companies can highlight their business to you via all means of communication.
We are aware that it may have been some time since you last heard off our company and we hold our hands up and state that we are unaware the exact source of all our recorded data.
Most data has been gathered ethically from trade shows, networking events, past relationships, business cards, bought data, acquired business cards and on some occasions potentially from the public domain.
In light of the changes coming into effect in May this year, we would like to do all that we can to provide you the opportunity to decide at the earliest possible opportunity how we may use your data.
It is your right to decide how we may contact you, or if we may not at all.
You have the right for your data to be permanently forgotten, unless there are specific legal reasons that may forbid us from complying, and indeed on those rare occasions should that occur, we will take prompt legal adice before any final decision is made.
So, the reason you are receiving this email is so that we can re-affirm whether we may, or may not contact you with topical news and insights designed to help your business grow and flourish, now and for the future.
The insights we would like to share will feature hints and tips on how to enhance your company cash-flow, how to reduce company expenditure and details of any complimentary seminars and workshops we are running that might appeal to you and your business.
So without further a do, please tell us your preferences:
