Hamilton Wood and Company

Hamilton Wood & Company is a privately owned Company. Established in 2017 by our Managing Director, Simon, from our offices originally in Stockport, Cheshire, we then relocated to Chapel Street adjacent to the Crown Courts in Manchester City Centre but are now located in Bury, Greater Manchester to take bigger offices.

We quickly established ourselves as a leading provider of Capital Allowances on Buildings, R&D Tax Credits, and Low-Fee Commercial Finance in the UK. Simon knows that our success is down to ethical business practices, treating the customer fairly and providing award-winning services and support at a fair price.

We carefully select our staff to ensure they share our beliefs of continual improvement and development. By respecting our staff and their right to a rewarding life both inside and outside of work, without impacting the needs of our customers; we have developed strong relationships with our staff and in many cases their families. We are proud to have signed up to the Armed-Forces Covenant and are committed to providing opportunities for reservists, ex-members of the Armed Forces and their families.

Our senior R&D analyst resides on HMRC’s consultation committee for R&D. He discusses the various implications of changes in legislation and the potential impact any changes to the incentive will likely lead to.

Our Managing Director is a fellow of UK Research and Innovation’s (UKRI) Peer Review College. UKRI is a non-departmental public body of the Government of the United Kingdom that directs research and innovation funding, funded through the science budget of the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
